Wadena Composite School Students MUST Have the Following SCHOOL SUPPLIES!!

(Please label all supplies with student’s name)

 

1. Exercise Books and Binders - Five 1 1/2” to 2” binders are recommended, along with loose leaf, 4 sets of page dividers, and two spiral notebooks.

 

2. Pencil Case - Pens (blue, black and red), pencils, erasers, markers (set of 8), glue sticks (2 large), scissors, pencil crayons, white out tape, reinforcements

 

3. Metric/Imperial Ruler (with both inches and centimetres)

 

4. Geometry Set, graph paper, scientific calculator for Grade 7 - 9 (must have the pi key); graphing calculator for all other grades.

 

6. Phys Ed Clothing - Runners with NON MARKING SOLES, t-shirt, shorts or sweat pants, sport socks, deodorant and a towel for showering. Please NO scented products (e.g. Axe), due to allergies.

 

7. Art Supplies - shoe box to hold art supplies, one sketchbook with white drawing paper (preferably coil bound or hard cover), 2 white vinyl erasers, one piece of fine grain sandpaper (for cleaning shading tools), 2 fine tip black Sharpie markers, 2 ultra fine tip black Sharpie markers, 2 bottles white school glue, 2 large glue sticks, 2 packages of HB pencils, 1 - 12” ruler, scissors, Crayola (or other good quality brand) markers, 1 package of pencil crayons, 4 square paint brushes ranging in bristle size from 1/2” and smaller

 

8. Sr Art Classes - graphite pencil set with 6B, 5B, 4B, 3B, 2B, B, HB, F, H, 2H, 3H, 4H 9. Home Ec supplies (Grades 9 - 12) - one package of good quality straight pins, 2 spools of thread (Coats or Gutterman brand), 1 stitch ripper. These can be purchased at E & K Trophy in Wadena. Please send $15.00 if you would like to purchase a kit with these supplies through the school.

 

9. Industrial Arts (all grades) - an old shirt for painting, closed-toed shoes, hair ties for long hair.
